The winner of the 2018 New Venture Competition is Lisa Smith, owner of Forage Candle, LLC. Forage Candles are cosmetic-grade, luxury lotion candles made using natural, locally sourced ingredients.

Teresa Mealer has struggled with low self-esteem her whole life, but at the age of 55 she's finding a higher purpose in life, and the willingness to face her challenges head-on.

With a fighting spirit, Terri is determined to continue to live her life the way she wants.

"I'm really thankful that there was an option where Hadley can help me still be able to get an education and still go to college and pursue my dreams and my desires."

Through many decades of dedicated service, Rose has helped thousands of blind and visually impaired people. Her work at Hadley will leave a legacy for future generations.
