"About 30 years ago someone I worked with who was visually impaired mentioned that they were taking courses from Hadley. I didn't know what it was and he explained it to me and for a long time I thought it was just courses for people who are visually impaired. It was later on that he explained to me that professionals could take courses also."

Darrel was awarded $30,000 as the winner of Hadley's 'New Venture Competition' for a business plan he developed for a multidisciplinary behavioral healthcare practice he started.

Winning this award, it came as a surprise really I've been nominated for this award that I feel empowered, that I should keep on learning and keep on sharing the knowledge and try to contribute further and help more people.

Recently, Karen received the prestigious 'Lifelong Learning Award' from Hadley in recognition of her more than three decades of classwork that includes 26 completed courses.
