Begin by putting paper in your writing device using whichever writing device you have available to you.

Okay, let's check out a few strong contractions you know. Turn to page 23 in the workbook. At the top of the page, read the strong contractions: and, for, of, the, with.

Now, let's start writing. You'll write some sentences using strong contractions. These uncontracted sentences can be found on pages 24 through 26 of the workbook for your reference.

First, indent two spaces.

Write the sentence:

Note, colon, meet at two o'clock on 7, forward slash, 25 with the boss.

Next, braille:

Now write the sentence:

We will have snacks and extras for people.

Next, braille:

Come with a positive attitude.

Now write:

Can you give a snack idea or two for the meet, hyphen, up?

Try the sentence:

I will take examples of the new products and have samples with me.

Next, braille:

For the new people, comma, all items will come with me to the meet, hyphen, up.

And now, write:

I hope to see you all with smiles.

Try the sentence:

Just a note to say I appreciate you all for an impressive meet, hyphen, up.

Now, braille:

Expect kudos and a pay raise, exclamation mark.

Write the sentence:

I have a dandy idea.

Now, continue writing:

Open quotation mark, Can you meet me for coffee at once, closing quotation mark.

And braille:

I'll wait on the sofa at my office.

Now, try the sentence:

I will not withhold details anymore.

Next, braille:

All people with a hand on the project, see me.

And write the sentence:

Then we can forge on, ellipses.

Now the sentence:

Don't forget the meet, hyphen, up at two, colon, zero, zero, exclamation mark.
